Colorado Air National Guard conducts F-16 night flying training

Mathew “Chaff” Crabb, pilot, 120th Fighter Squadron, 140th Wing, Colorado Air National Guard, Buckley Space Force Base, Colorado, prepares his aircraft for a training mission prior to a night flight during Red Flag 17-2 at Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada. The Red Flag exercise is a realistic combat training exercise involving the air forces of the United States, its allies, and coalition partners, and is conducted on the vast gunnery ranges of the 2.9 million acre Nevada Test and Training Range, a primary training area associated with Nellis AFB. The exercise brings in more than 100 aircraft and 3,000 personnel with the goal of preparing commanders and service members at all levels for war in a realistic training scenario. Colorado National Guard honors fallen warriors, Gold Star Families with new memorial

Gold Star Families and Colorado National Guard members visit the War on Terrorism Remembrance Memorial at Joint Force Headquarters, Centennial, Colorado, Sept. 11, 2022.  The Colorado National Guard unveiled the War on Terrorism Remembrance Memorial at JFHQ, Sept. 11.  The memorial features these CONG fallen service members: U.S. Army Sgt. 1st Class Daniel A. Romero, died April 15, 2002; U.S. Army Sgt. Luis R. Reyes, died Nov. 18, 2005; U.S. Army Sgt. Jon L. Stiles, died Nov. 13, 2008; U.S. Army Chief Warrant Officer 5 David R.
