Everyone needs a little assistance every now and then. The Colorado National Guard Family Program is once again partnering with the Colorado National Guard Foundation, Inc., to aid Colorado National Guard Service Members and Families in need. Our combined goal is to make sure that every Air and Army Colorado National Guard Service Member has the opportunity to have a wonderful holiday season.
This program uses generous donations from fellow Guardsmen and community partners to help supply meals for Colorado National Guard Service Members and Families in need during the November and December holidays. No matter where you live or what deployment status you are in, you can register to receive meal assistance!
Interested in donating? Donations of checks or gift cards are accepted through December 22 and can be dropped off or sent directly to the CONG Foundation Office at 12200 E Briarwood Ave, Suite 160, Centennial, CO 80112. Be sure to notate, "Holiday Meals 2021" with the donation to ensure it is used for the correct program. Your donation is tax-deductible.
Register for assistance: The registration deadline to receive a holiday meal in November is November 16. To register for meal assistance for a holiday meal in December, registration will be available from November 27 to December 16.
Timeline: 1 Oct: Registration Opens

For those interested in receiving some assistance for their family this year, the type of support provided is specific to the individuals who have registered. For example, those that register for the Adopt-a-Family program can specify that they need sweatshirts, size L, in dark colors. Adopt-a-Family works very well for individuals with specific needs or for Families that have children who will receive no other holiday gifts. All Colorado National Guard Service Members in need are invited to register their Families to be 'adopted' through the program! Registration for 2021 Adopt-a-Family opens 15 October and closes at midnight on 19 November.
Once adopted family will be contacted by a Family Program Office Soldier and Family Readiness Specialist informing them they have been matched with a donor. Gifts will be delivered to the families address provided at time of registration week of 14-17 December. Family will be contacted by a Soldier and Family Readiness Specialist to coordinate time and date of delivery.
