CENTENNIAL, Colo. – The Adjutant General of Colorado U.S. Army Maj. Gen. Laura Clellan will conduct a state-wide tour of Colorado National Guard facilities to enhance situational awareness and community connections, Aug. 14-16, 2024.
A fleet of two to three Colorado Army National Guard UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters will fly in formation over Colorado communities while enroute to the facilities.
The Adjutant General and senior leaders from the Colorado Department of Military and Veterans Affairs, COARNG, and the Colorado Air National Guard will be joined by members of the Colorado Legislature and state agencies to assess equipment and facilities during the tour as well as visit with local officials and unit members.
“This tour of Colorado National Guard facilities highlights our members who are community-based at locations throughout our state,” Clellan said. “Our facilities ensure that our members can continue to execute state and federal missions to the best of their ability.”
This year's tour includes visits to units, communities, and readiness centers in Greeley, Fort Collins, Grand Junction, Alamosa, Pueblo, and Fort Carson.
