Georgia Army National Guardsmen from 138th Chemical Biological Radiological and Nuclear defense Company along with U.S. Airmen from the Georgia Air National Guard’s 116th Medical Group, Detachment 1, participate in PATRIOT South 2018 exercise at Camp Shelby, Miss., Feb. 13, 2018. CBRNE (Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and high-yield Explosives) CERFP (Enhanced Response Force Package) Setup and train with volunteers that have simulated injuries to help hone their response time and real world capabilities. The one-week exercise includes more than 500 members of the National Guard, consisting of Soldiers and Airmen and are participating along with local first responders, emergency management agencies, and relief organizations.
