B-roll footage of C-17 in early morning at AK ANG preparing to depart to Spokane, WA to pick up a equipment and approximately 50 personnel to support the Arctic Eagle 18 exercise in Alaska. Two C-17's will be sent to pick up Homeland Response Force (HRF) equipment. Arctic Eagle 18 is a statewide exercise involving national, state and local agencies designed to provide opportunities for participants to conduct sustained operations in arctic conditions. The goals of Arctic Eagle 18 are for participating forces to operate in a joint, interagency, and intergovernmental and multinational environment; assess ability to conduct sustained operations in arctic conditions, and integrate new and emerging capabilities.
