Colorado National Guard to support Hurricane Irma response efforts Promotion

The Colorado National Guard sends Colorado's National Guard Communications Element from the 233rd Space Communication Squadron, Greeley, Colorado, to Mississippi in preparation for response efforts after Hurricane Irma passes over Florida.
While the team loads their equipment onto the West Virginia Air National Guard C-17, they take a moment to promote Senior Airman Jeremiah VanValkenburg to Staff Sergeant.
Col. Brian Turner, 140th Wing Commander reads the promotion order.
