CENTENNIAL, Colo. – The Colorado National Guard and community partners will host the second annual State of the Guard in Centennial, Colorado, Aug. 27, 2026.
State of the Guard is an opportunity for community and Colorado National Guard leaders to network and for communities to learn about the CONG’s legacy, missions and future.
The event also provides a hands-on opportunity to meet Guardsmen and view and touch CONG equipment they use during domestic and global operations. Aircraft and ground vehicles will be on display.
New to the event this year, a community partner will be recognized with the inaugural Minuteman Partnership Award, honoring a Colorado organization which has made a measurable difference in the readiness, resilience, or mission effectiveness of the Colorado National Guard.
“The strong ties between the National Guard and our communities are vital to our national security and emergency response capabilities,” said The Adjutant General of Colorado U.S. Army Maj. Gen. Robert Davis. “We’re excited this year to recognize a community partner who has supported our National Guard Family while they keep America safe.”
