A memorial built from recovered World Trade Center steel is constructed at Joint Force Headquarters – Colorado, Centennial, Colorado, to honor the lives lost on Sept. 11, 2001, as well as the service members who made the ultimate sacrifice during the Global War on Terror. The 36-foot, 6,000-pound piece of steel was donated by the Counterterrorism Education Learning Lab to be permanently displayed at the JFHQ-CO complex. (U.S. Air National Guard photo by Staff Sgt.
