Colorado Army National Guard aviators train for Kosovo at Northern Strike

The 2nd General Support Aviation Battalion,135th Regiment, Colorado Army National Guard participated in Exercise Northern Strike, one of the Department of War’s largest reserve component readiness exercises held in Grayling, Michigan, Aug. 2-14, 2025.

120th Fighter Squadron flyover opens Cheyenne rodeo

The Red Eyes of the 120th Fighter Squadron, 140th Wing, Colorado Air National Guard opened the Cheyenne Frontier Days rodeo, Cheyenne, with an F-16 Fighting Falcon flyover for the first time in the event’s 129-year history, July 19, 2025.

U.S. Marine Harrier final flight ends at Buckley Space Force Base

It was the first of its kind, a jet that rose like a helicopter, hovered in midair, and raced forward like a fighter. After decades of rewriting rules for aerial warfare, a U.S. Marine AV-8B Harrier embarked on its final flight. Not for combat, but for commemoration.
