Command In-Brief

This Sexual Assault Prevention and Response (SAPR) Incoming Commander’s in-brief is required by AR600-52. The in-brief was prepared by Ms. Rebecca McLain, COARNG SARC. Authority: DODI 6495.02, AR 600-52, CNGBM 1300.01, Appendix 4 (Sexual Harassment/Assault Reporting and Prevention) to ANNEX T (Training) to OPORD 26-02 (Base Order).

It is important to sign the Memorandum and return it to the SAPR Coordinator with a good phone number.

 The supporting documents of this In-Brief (hyperlinked at right) will help the Commander be more informed of their responsibilities regarding confidentiality and “official need to know” for both Restricted and Unrestricted Reporting, the requirements of the 24-hour notification and 8-day incident report, trends for the unit and area of responsibility, Sexual Assault Case Management Group (SACMG) mandatory attendance, retaliation and reprisal procedures, and communications with survivors.
