A UH-72 Lakota (foreground) and UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter from the Colorado Army National Guard 2nd General Support Aviation Battalion, 135th Regiment and High-altitude Army National Guard Aviation Training Site conduct joint hoist rescue training with the Alpine Rescue Team, Rocky Mountain Rescue, Vail Mountain Rescue, Mountain Rescue Aspen, at the Eldora ski area and the Boulder Watershed, Colorado, during the summer of 2024. These groups are part of the Colorado Hoist Rescue Team which conducts training annually to continuously develop proficiency amongst rescue crews across the state in order to promote readiness for search and rescue in the high country.
