ESTES PARK, Colo. - U.S Soldiers with the 947th Engineer Company, Colorado National Guard, help to rebuild Highway 36 west of Lyons, Colorado, Sept. 27, 2013. The Colorado National Guard was supporting the Colorado Department of Transportation to make a passable causeway between Lyons and Estes Park that sustained the communities until spring when weather would allow civil contractors to fully rebuild the highway to standards. Heavy rains and flash floods destroyed roughly 40 percent of the highway earlier in the month, closing the highway to all vehicular traffic. (U.S. Air National Guard photo by: Tech. Sgt. Wolfram M.
