Suicide Prevention

The CONG Suicide Prevention Program aims to increase the resiliency of service members and reduce the risk of suicide for the National Guard service members, civilian employees and family members. In order to do this we have forcused our efforts into several initiatives organized to provide resources and assistance to those in need.
As an integral component of Army’s Ready and Resilient Campaign (R2C), the Army's Suicide Prevention Program improves readiness of the Army through the development and enhancement of Army Suicide Prevention Program policies, training, data collection and analysis, and strategic communications designed to minimize suicide behavior; thereby preserving mission effectiveness through individual readiness and resilience for Soldiers, Army Civilians and Family members.
"Every day, many veterans and their families are living with the mental and physical scars from serving their country during military service. The Cohen Veterans Network, Inc., a not-for-profit philanthropic organization, was created to serve them by providing high-quality, accessible, and integrated mental health care. Through our client-centered, customized outpatient care, we support veterans and their families as they begin their next mission: healthy and happy lives.”
