Transition Assistance Advisor

The State of Colorado offers special benefits for its military service members and Veterans including Retired Military Pay tax exemptions, state employment preferences, education and tuition assistance, vehicle tags, as well as hunting and fishing license privileges.  Eligibility for some benefits may depend on residency, military component and Veteran disability status. Photo of Soldiers with Retired VetThe COARNG Retirement/Separations Services Section serves as the subject matter expert for enlisted separations, regular (Active Service) retirements, non-regular (M-DAY/TPU) retirements, medical retirements, retirement points statements, Reserve Component Survivor Benefits Plan (RCSBP), Survivor Benefits Plan (SBP), and application for retired pay. We are available to schedule an appointment Tuesday through Friday 0900 to 1600 to assist with retirement pay applications and any retirement or separation related questions. The COARNG Retirement/Separations Services Section is located on the 3rd floor of the 3-story building at JFHQ (6848 S. Revere Pkwy., Centennial, CO 80112).
