4th Annual National Guard Space and Missile Defense Symposium
On behalf of The Adjutant General of Colorado, Major General H. Michael Edwards, please join us for the fourth annual Army National Guard Space and Missile Defense Symposium.
Today there are approximately 135 Space Operations Officers and enlisted Space Enablers in 25 states throughout the Army National Guard. Additionally there are approximately 300 Army National Guard Soldiers in Alaska, California, and Colorado defending our Nation against intercontinental ballistic missile threats. Join us during these two days as we take a look at new technologies, strategies, and capabilities within the National Guard that will shape the future employment of our Space and Missile Defense Forces and engage in discussion of space support capabilities available to support mission success during combat or domestic operations.
This symposium is directed to all members of the National Guard. The target audience for this symposium is National Guard Space and Missile Defense officers and enlisted Soldiers as well as civilians and contractors that support the Space and Missile Defense industry. We strongly encourage division and brigade commanders, and their staffs, with space officer authorizations on their MTOE to attend as well as State emergency operations planners. The Adjutants Generals are welcome to attend at their discretion. Interested faculty and cadets from the service academies are also welcome.
The fourth annual Army National Guard Space and Missile Defense Symposium will be held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Colorado Springs, CO from 05-06 APR 2011. Please register online by following the registration link on this website. Out of town guests can follow the Hotel Accommodation link to reserve their lodging at the Crowne Plaza. Should you have any registration questions or other questions regarding this symposium, please contact MAJ Joe Paladino at (720) 250-3837 or email at email@example.com.
Thank you for your consideration and I hope to see you in Colorado Springs this April.
