3-157th Field Artillery

The Field Artillery units in the state of Colorado are the largest and the oldest of the Colorado Army National Guard. The 157th fought in the War with Spain, the Philippine Insurrection and both the 169th and the 157th saw action in WWI and WWII.

These artillery units, known as the "King of Battle", bring a lethal arsenal to the battlefield. Currently, their main weapon is the MLRS (Multiple Launch Rocket System). These fast moving missile launching platforms fire a fast and deadly3-157th Crest arsenal at the enemy, destroying entire gridzones on a map.

Field Artillery in Colorado traces its lineage to June of 1909. Campaign participation includes WWI, WWII (Europe). Currently organized as a HIMARS Battalion.
