Goose Bay, New Foundland & Labrador, Canada - A B-52 Stratofortress, from the 5th Bomb Wing, Minot, North Dakota, an F-16 Fighting Falcon from the 140th Wing, Colorado Air National Guard, Buckley Air Force Base, Colorado, and two Royal Canadian Air Force CF-18 fighter aircraft, fly an air intercept mission during Operation Noble Defender, a NORAD Arctic Air Defense operation, Sep. 20, 2020, at 5 Wing, Goose Bay, Newfoundland & Labrador. North American Aerospace Defense Command conducted a dynamic force employment operation in the Arctic Sept. 20-23, 2020, to demonstrate NORAD’s air capability, readiness and will to defend the United States and Canada from competitors who continue to test our defenses.
