CASTLE ROCK, Colo. (9/18/11) – The Colorado Army National Guard's 893rd Troop Command Battalion was officially deactivated in a ceremony Sept. 18.

The battalion was activated in 2009 to lead seven unique units within the Colorado Army National Guard so other battalion elements could focus on mobilization.
