Pakistan Air Force members compete during the Alert Scramble competition at the 2010 Falcon Air Meet, Oct. 20, 2010, at Muwaffaq Salti Air Base in Azraq, Jordan. The Falcon Air Meet is a friendly competition centered on the F-16 Fighting Falcon. F-16 units from Jordan, the U.S. Air Force’s 77th Wing and United Arab Emirates, along with a Mirage unit from Pakistan and a U.S. Navy F-18 unit, are competing in the fifth annual event hosted by the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and the Royal Jordanian Air Force. The event has been judged by the 140th Wing, Colorado Air National Guard, since the competition’s inception due to its strong friendship with Jordan through the National Guard Bureau’s State Partnership Program.
